To create the brand identity for the Butch brewery company. The brand identity to be determined by the phrase ‘Butch, the wrestler, went for a walk to smell the roses in the doctors garden’. The branding must relate to the beer’s fresh aromatic and floral taste. The design is to contain colours which relate to ideas about flavours and freshness.
I researched the product and the competition and chose colours associated with aromas, such as greens and oranges, to suggest feelings of freshness. Using Adobe Illustrator, I designed the logo, which features a central image of a Mexican wrester mask, surrounded by footsteps and roses, which represent the idea of walking in a floral garden.
